Sen Of Japan

Very pleasant atmosphere with very nice food and staff. My third time here. Love to catch up with colleagues over lunch. Oh yes, love their lunch set which is Friendly staff who is always attentive with our needs. Highly recommended.

I had an amazing dining experience at sen of Japan !( MBS) The atmosphere was cozy and authentic, Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor — the sushi was incredibly fresh,and the tempura perfectly crisp. The chef Bee were attentive and friendly, always making sure we felt taken care of without being intrusive. Definitely one of the best Japanese restaurants I’ve been to, and I can’t wait to come back for more. Highly recommended!

The food is exceptional. There are a lot of dishes to choose from as the menu is very big. The service is great. Mini Wagyu Don - 9/10 Chicken Teriyaki - 8/10 Salmon Nigiri - 9/10 Lava Cake - 9.5/10

Food was good as usual! But this time, service crew - Astrid was extremely observant and helpful. One of the best service we have received out of the few times we visited Sen of Japan. Attentive to our table, and even provided us with spoons before we could even ask for it.

Visited Sen of Japan to try their weekday lunch sets, and they did not disappoint. Hubby had the Yuzu Kosho Black Cod set lunch while I went for the Hokkaido Gyudon. Both were equally delicious, but I’d highly recommend going for the regular set lunch (instead of the donburi or ramen sets) for better value — it comes with an appetiser, tempura, salad, miso soup, and dessert. In comparison, the donburi and ramen sets only include salad and miso soup. A lovely touch was the complimentary slice of cake they offered for our birthday celebration. Overall, a hearty and satisfying lunch — perfect for a relaxing afternoon at MBS.

Excellent service alongside a beautiful meal. The attentiveness of every single one of the staff members definitely elevated the dining experience, and we enjoyed the meal greatly. I would usually have lengthy reviews put up, but no additional words needed here - great food, reasonable prices, beautiful plating and fresh ingredients. The only gripe was the slightly tight seating especially during a full house, as it can feel cramped with other diners being a bit too close for comfort at times. I would also skip dessert here if revisiting.

Very cosy Japanese restaurant bar at Bayfront MBS. Gets a 5 star from me because it was open for sake at 4pm. Service is friendly but lacks the attentiveness. Room for improvement. Deco is wood themed, clean and simple. Sashimi is fresh and generously thick cut. Prices are fairly reasonable for MBS standards. Worth the quick stop and avoid queues at MBS.

Sen of Japan never disappoints. We dine here almost twice a month, and every visit is consistently excellent. Their manager Kevin and staff Dolly always provide warm, attentive service that makes us feel at home. The food is exceptional, especially the perfectly prepared Nodoguro and Kinmedai fish. Their wonderful selection of hot sakes pairs beautifully with every dish. Dont forget to try their Earl Grey Panna Cotta. Highly recommended!
